Trained at the Taj Group as a tandoor commis in 1998, Rakesh-ji spent two years cooking the daily 1,500-plate bhandara at a temple-trust kitchen in Banaras before founding Yatra Saathi in 2009. The discipline of feeding hungry pilgrims for free — the same dal, the same ghee, every morning — is what produces our famous tehri, kadhi-chawal, and Awadhi paneer pulao today.

Yes. Our FSSAI license is vegetarian-only — that means our kitchen has never cooked meat, eggs, or fish, and is licensed not to. Every ingredient receipt, every supplier, every storage shelf is vegetarian-only. We can show you the FSSAI certificate (license number on every quote PDF).
Yes — separately cooked. For Jain events we eliminate root vegetables (potato / onion / garlic / radish / carrot / ginger). For sattvik / Swaminarayan / Vaishnav events we cook in ghee only and avoid onion / garlic / leeks. Tell us at the quote stage and we do a tasting first.
50 guests for a custom menu (full thali or buffet). Below 50, we do home delivery / hot-box service for the same menu. For Bhog Prasad we go down to 100 plates, for Bhandara as low as 200 plates.

Yes — we have catered in Jaipur, Udaipur, Banaras, Pushkar, Rishikesh, and as far as Goa. Travel-and-stay for the chef-team is added to the quote at actuals; usually adds ₹40k–₹1L for a 3-day destination wedding.
For wedding-season dates (Nov–Feb), we recommend 4–6 months. For corporate / festival events, 2–4 weeks. Same-week bookings for ≤100 guests are usually possible — call the team directly.
